We will study direct systems X = (Xa; pb a; (A )) of closed inclusions pb a : Xa ! Xb and determine properties of such systems that will detect the pseudo compactness of dirlimX. We will consider when the condition is productive for pseudo-compactness and will provide several natural examples in which this phenomenon occurs.
